ORDINARY

Pin pricks of light
ordinary in day; dawn
with beauty in dark.

  1. I could picture a forest at dawn with the first rays of light breaching the leafy canopy. those light rays which later in the day are unnoticed as they blend with the other rays :)

beautiful haiku. one of the best I've seen from you.

  13. Concept was brilliant. Loved it. But wonder what is that 'dawn' doing there. It seems to be introduced just to maintain the syllable count.

    1. dawn as in the importance of a ordinary prick of light dawning upon me... actually i wanted to use some other word, but yeah, had to keep in with the syllable count.
      glad you liked it TF!!
